| Paul Dunmall steps out again with long standing compatriot guitarist Philip Gibbs and interestingly Miles Levin, the son of fellow MUJICIAN drummer Tony Levin, one of the finest Jazz Drummers the UK has ever produced. Its tantalising to make comparisons, but first thing that hits you is Miles levin is his own man, with all the technique and artistry of his father but fused into a different generation with its own sound and style.
Phil Gibbs is always interesting with his multidirectional guitar and electronics ever changing but always enduringly interesting, while Dunmall continues his quest and never ending search for meaning through the music in his colossal instant compositions. A major voice that just gets stronger and stronger!!!! |
